The Los Gatos Wildcats came tearing into Friday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past St. Ignatius College Preparatory with a 21-17 victory.
Boxer Kopcsak-Yeung continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 176 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Kopcsak-Yeung is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played. Los Gatos also got help from Jaylen Thomas who showed off his sure hands for 112 receiving yards.
Los Gatos is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
Los Gatos will square off against Wilcox at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilcox is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. St. Ignatius College Preparatory does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
