Markey Posts Huge Game in 45-6 Victory
Starting off the list is Jefferson's Gavin Markey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Markey rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 30 yards and two touchdowns. Jefferson is 7-1 when Markey posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
Markey and Jefferson will host Oconee County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Markey up against the Warriors' star signal caller Titus Watkins. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
