Volleyball Recap: Greer Extends Winning Streak to Three

Greer entered their tilt with High Point Academy on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Grizzlies.

While Greer might've won, it sure wasn't easy: High Point Academy scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18.

Sophia Petrillo was nothing short of spectacular: she had nine digs and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Greer's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for High Point Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.

Greer and High Point Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Yellow Jackets are set to take on their familiar foe Berea at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, High Point Academy will square off against rival Brashier Middle College Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
