Scott's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the WestSide Renegades 12-1. The win continues a trend for the Skyhawks in their matchups with the Renegades: they've now won six in a row.

Carter McClung and Jacob Carrico made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, McClung pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Carrico pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. McClung has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one hit in ten consecutive appearances. At the plate, McClung went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Carrico went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. Those two hits gave Carrico a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Louden White, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Blayne Kuhn was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Scott always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as WestSide only posted an OBP of .263.

Scott's victory bumped their record up to 18-6-2. As for WestSide, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.

Coming up, Scott will face off against Sherman at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for WestSide, they will square off against Tug Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Renegades are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
