Westlake hasn't had much luck against Herriman recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Thunder are taking a road trip to  take on the Mustangs  at 6:30  p.m.
On Thursday, Westlake didn't have quite enough to beat Cedar Valley and fell  3-2. While the Thunder didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Aviators  25-15 in the first  set.
 Westlake took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 26-24, 23-25, 25-15,  15-11.

 Despite the  loss, Westlake had strong showings from  Leiema Fano, who  had nine  digs and two  aces, and  Kamylle Te'o, who  had 17  digs and seven  kills. Fano has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  aces the last four times she's  played.  Abbi Wood was another key player,  getting six  digs and three  aces.
Meanwhile, Herriman entered their tilt with Copper Hills on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Grizzlies.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-27, 25-20,  25-16.
 Westlake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Herriman, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
 Westlake suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Herriman  in their previous meeting  back in September. Can the Thunder avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
