Hamilton had won seven straight at home, but on Friday they bumped up to 18-3 to make it eight. Everything went their way against the Sulligent Blue Devils as they made off with an 11-2 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Myles Clark and Nate West dominated on the mound. Clark tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits, while West tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Jaxson Bigham was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Seth Welch, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

As for Sulligent, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly nine runs.

On Sulligent's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Stiles, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Hamilton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-7 victory against East Webster on the 28th. As for Sulligent, they have also already played their next contest, a 19-12 win against Pickens Academy on the 28th.
