Basketball Recap: Pocahontas Piles Up the Points Against Northwest Webster

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pocahontas had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 81-40 victory over the Northwest Webster Cougars. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Pocahontas is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points over those games. As for Northwest Webster, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

Pocahontas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwest Webster, they will venture away from home to take on Alta-Aurelia on February 18th.
