Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Thursday, everything went Loveland Protestant Reformed Christian's way against Mile High Academy as Loveland Protestant Reformed Christian made off with a 59-38 victory. The victory was just what Loveland Protestant Reformed Christian needed coming off of a 68-46 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Front Range Baptist beat Denver Academy 62-53 on Tuesday. Given Front Range Baptist's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Denver Academy is ranked 281st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Front Range Baptist to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mark Sutton, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. Alex Prelog was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds.
The victory got Loveland Protestant Reformed Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Front Range Baptist, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Loveland Protestant Reformed Christian suffered a grim 68-46 defeat to Front Range Baptist in their previous matchup back in January. Can Loveland Protestant Reformed Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
