Cascade Christian won the last time they faced Hidden Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Challengers blew past the Mustangs 54-6. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-0.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cascade Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Deryk Farmer, who rushed for 33 yards and one score, and also threw for 130 yards and one TD on only ten passes. Another rusher making a difference was Bryson Walker, who rushed for 51 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only five carries.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Cascade Christian, adding 16 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Walker, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
The win was the third in a row for Cascade Christian, bringing their record up to 3-0.
