The Corona del Sol Aztecs will venture away from home to  challenge the Millennium Tigers  at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Millennium took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Corona del Sol, who comes in off a win.

They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  win over Shadow Ridge. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Aztecs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Caitlyn Ackerley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Jami Sheehan, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Miquela Tammaro was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
Meanwhile, Millennium was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They lost  8-2 to Mountain Ridge.
  Charlotte Apodaca made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with one  home run.
 Millennium's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Corona del Sol, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
