While losing is never fun, Franklin Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 258th in Louisiana, while Hillcrest Christian is ranked 88th in Mississippi).
Prairie View Academy suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They took a serious blow against Hillcrest Christian, falling 75-45.
Franklin Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Prairie View Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
Things could have been worse for Franklin Academy, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 79-65 loss to Prairie View Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Franklin Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
