When it comes to explaining why Anderson HomeSchool lost, one person who can't be blamed is Matthew Eaks. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 41.8% of Anderson HomeSchool's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bennett Long, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Columbus HomeSchool's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from David Cline, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. Cline is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Jackson Salsbery was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
Anderson HomeSchool has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for Columbus HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anderson HomeSchool will take on Living Water Homeschool at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Living Water Homeschool is ranked 262nd, while Anderson HomeSchool is ranked 273rd). As for Columbus HomeSchool, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Christian Academy of Madison at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Elijah Kummer and Cline.
