Even though Wawasee has not done well against Central Noble recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Wawasee skirted past Central Noble 42-39. Winning is a bit easier when you drain five more threes than your opponent, as Wawasee did.
Wawasee got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaydence Shepherd out in front who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Horn, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Huntington North has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Wawasee, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
