IDEA Riverview scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were beaten by the Raymondville Bearkats 61-17. The loss leaves the Rockets without a win on the season.

Adaleigh Knight was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 42 points and 14 rebounds for Raymondville. Knight's evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Emily Ramos, who posted eight points and eight steals.

IDEA Riverview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Raymondville, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-11.

IDEA Riverview will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lyford at 5:30 p.m. on January 14th. As for Raymondville, they will challenge IDEA Sports Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
