Sunbright played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They managed a 54-50 win over the Wartburg Central Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Garrett Rogers was his usual excellent self, putting up 23 points. Levi Walker was another key player, scoring 11 points.

Sunbright has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Wartburg Central, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Sunbright has already played their next contest, a 60-40 victory against Oakdale on the 25th. As for Wartburg Central, they will take on Oliver Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wartburg Central is facing Oliver Springs at the right time seeing as Oliver Springs is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
