After flying high against the Kimberton Waldorf Bulls last Thursday, the AIM Academy Wolfpack came back down to earth. AIM Academy took a 64-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Delaware Valley Friends on Tuesday. If AIM Academy hoped to take revenge for the 53-51 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Delaware Valley Friends had a senior duo take command as Brandon Thomas scored 20 points along with six rebounds and five steals and Alec George scored 20 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. George continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Oscar Goldwater, who scored eight points.
AIM Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Delaware Valley Friends, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
AIM Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Delaware Valley Friends and Kimberton Waldorf will face off at 3:30 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Kimberton Waldorf has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 30.
