Jess Woods turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Thursday. She struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Crosby back in March, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Woods and Dayton will challenge Lake Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Woods had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game back in February 7-2.
