The Dillon Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Manning Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dillon is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
Last Tuesday, Dillon sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-34 win over the Blue Jackets.
Dillon found their leader in underclassman Treasure Davis, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Davis is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played. Mariah Campbell was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Manning lost to the Blue Jackets on the road by a decisive 51-35 margin on Thursday. Manning was down 41-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Dillon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Manning, their loss dropped their record down to 2-19.
Everything came up roses for Dillon against the Monarchs when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 54-19 victory. With Dillon ahead 35-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
