Valley scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 63-29 victory over Whitefield Academy. That 63-29 margin sets a new team best for Valley this season.
Meanwhile, even though John Hardin scored an imposing 65 points on Friday, Henry County still came out on top. Henry County took their contest against John Hardin 75-65. Given Henry County's advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while John Hardin is ranked 266th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Valley's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-5. As for Henry County, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
