Salisbury had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Davidson Golden Eagles a 2-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Salisbury also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salisbury will head out to challenge Mount Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Davidson, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Lexington Senior at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
