Roncalli is 4-0 against the Eagles since November of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Roncalli Jets will look to defend their home court against the Sheboygan County Christian Eagles at 7:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Roncalli and four for the Eagles.
Roncalli pushed their score all the way to 69 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 76-69 to Brillion.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan County Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 58-54 to the Rams. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sheboygan County Christian in their matchups with the Rams: they've now lost nine in a row.
Roncalli has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Sheboygan County Christian, they dropped their record down to 11-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything went Roncalli's way against the Eagles when the teams last played back in February of 2020 as the Jets made off with a 60-36 victory. Will Roncalli repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
