Victor is a perfect 10-0 against Rush-Henrietta since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Royal Comets at 7:00 p.m. Victor will be strutting in after a win while Rush-Henrietta will be coming in after a defeat.
Victor will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Fairport, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Blue Devils won by a set and slipped past the Red Raiders 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blue Devils have posted since September 15th.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Victor who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 19-25, 25-15, 26-28, 15-13.

Emma Graney went supernova, getting five aces and four digs. What's more, she racked up 26 assists, the most she's had over her last ten matches. Another player making a difference was Grace Repich, who had four digs and three aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Victor was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 15 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Rush-Henrietta lost 3-0 to Webster Schroeder on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Royal Comets in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost seven in a row.
Rush-Henrietta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Victor, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4-3.
