South Side scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Gentry Pioneers by a score of 11-10.

Kai Nichols was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Haze Hulse, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Even though they lost, South Side always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

South Side now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Gentry, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, South Side will face off against Rose Bud at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gentry, they will challenge Siloam Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
