Mickey Marolt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
