Lafayette County extended the longest winning streak in Missouri River Valley - East this week by beating Carrollton, 68-14. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Lafayette County took down the Trojans 68-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Holden's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jeff Miller threw for 44 and one touchdown and Bennett Evans had 24 yards receiving. On the ground Max Mickey chipped in 255 yards. Jordan Sullins helped Holden's passing attack out by catching one ball for 14 yards.
Holden's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Miller has thrown for 420 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Austin Tevis has 10 catches for 151 yards. Mickey leads the league in rushing with 2054 yards.
Steve Cook's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 68 points on Carrollton.
