Albuquerque has gone 9-1 against Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Albuquerque will host Valley at 4:00 p.m. Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Albuquerque, who comes in off a win.
On Wednesday, Albuquerque made easy work of St. Pius X and carried off an 11-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Raquel Waldrop made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, Yaslene Jimenez was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three doubles, and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Annika Stanley was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Valley came up short against Eldorado on Tuesday, falling 18-6.
Liliana Roybal and Aaliyah Diggs did some serious damage despite the final result: Roybal scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Diggs went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Brielle Martinez, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Even though they lost, Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .312 or higher in five consecutive games.
Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Albuquerque, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Albuquerque beat Valley 9-4 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Does Albuquerque have another victory up their sleeve, or will Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
