It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Battlefield Bobcats can now relate to. They were beaten by the Eagles 50-7 on Saturday. Battlefield's defeat signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.
Tristan Evans-Trujillo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Freedom, throwing for 209 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Evans-Trujillo is absolutely dominating the passing touchdown category: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the field this season.
Battlefield's defeat dropped their record down to 12-1. As for Freedom, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Battlefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Freedom will face off against James Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. James Madison is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
