The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wyandanch, who took down 613th ranked Center Moriches, 22-15.
The Warriors were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 13th to eighth in Section 11 Division IV. Wyandanch vanquished the Red Devils 22-15 earlier in the week.
Shoreham-Wading River's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Danny Hughes has thrown for 120 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Isreal Squires has eight catches for 172 yards. Tyler Anderson leads the league in rushing with 195 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Port Jefferson takes on Mercy. As it stands, the Royals are in 10th, while the Monarchs are in first.
Mercy extended the longest winning streak in Section 11 Division IV this week by beating Mattituck-Southold-Greenport, 12-7. The win marks fourth in a row for the Joe Read's team.
