State Line Christian lost against Quentin Road Christian back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. State Line Christian received a tough blow as they fell 62-48 to Quentin Road Christian.
Despite the defeat, State Line Christian had strong showings from Cooper Worley, who scored 17 points along with five steals, and Preston Roque, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and four steals. Worley is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Baumker, who scored nine points.
State Line Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Quentin Road Christian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
State Line Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Arthur-Okaw Christian at 9:30 a.m. on January 13th. Arthur-Okaw Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.6 points per game. Quentin Road Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marquette Manor Baptist Academy at 6:45 p.m. on January 30th.
