The Farmington Cardinals entered their tilt with the Pea Ridge Blackhawks with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Farmington walked away with a 36-24 victory over Pea Ridge on Friday. The score was all tied up 17-17 at the break, but Farmington was the (much) better team in the second half.
Luke Elsik was a one-man wrecking crew for Farmington as he rushed for 193 yards and four touchdowns. Elsik is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Hunter Reaves did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Farmington has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Pea Ridge, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 5-4.
Farmington will head out on the road to face off against Prairie Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pea Ridge, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Harrison at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Harrison's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
