The Wilson Hall Barons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season. They blew past East Clarendon, posting a 75-47 win on the road. The win was familiar territory for Wilson Hall who now have five in a row.
Wilson Hall was led to victory by Shawn michael Matthews and Hugh Humphries. Matthews scored 11 points along with nine assists and eight rebounds, while Humphries scored 17 points along with nine rebounds. The contest was Humphries' third in a row with at least ten points. Jones Deschamps was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Wilson Hall's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for East Clarendon, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilson Hall and Manning will face off at 7:45 p.m. on December 30, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Manning's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups. East Clarendon will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Lamar at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th.
