Milford faced Altamont in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Tigers claimed a resounding 72-6 victory over the Longhorns. Considering the Tigers have won five contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Carson Cheney was his usual excellent self, throwing for 391 yards and eight touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 39 yards. Those 391 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Griffin Walker did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 129 receiving yards.
