There's no place like home for the West Essex Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They took down the Newark Academy Minutemen 56-40. That result was just more of the same for the Knights, who also won the last time these teams played (January 9th).
The victory improved West Essex's record to 10-6. The defeat dropped Newark Academy's record to 6-10.
West Essex will take on Caldwell on Tuesday. As for Newark Academy, they will face off against Montclair Kimberley Academy next week. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.
