After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middlesex, Dunellen was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the New Brunswick Zebra as they made off with a 13-2 victory. Considering the Destroyers have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kaitylee Garcia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Garcia was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
In other batting news, Dunellen let Alexa DeVesa and Kasey Manna run wild.
