The Red Level Tigers won against the McKenzie Tigers on Friday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Red Level walked away with a 64-54 win over McKenzie. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Red Level also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
McKenzie lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaylen Mcmillian, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Mcmillian's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Quay Jackson, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Red Level has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for McKenzie, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Level will take on Shields at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Shields is ranked 249th, while Red Level is ranked 227th). As for McKenzie, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Pleasant Home at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Pleasant Home is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
