Hunter-Kinard-Tyler have had to suffer through a 4-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They steamrollered Estill 50-7. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's record up to 1-4. Estill are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Hunter-Kinard-Tyler will look to defend their home turf next week against Blackville-Hilda at 7:30 PM. Blackville-Hilda took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's good fortune. Estill are packing up and heading on the road for their first away contest this season. They face off against North at North HS at 7:30 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses for Estill and five for North.
