Wickenburg Christian Academy waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took their game with ease, bagging a 69-21 victory over the Roosevelt Preparatory Academy Aces. The Lion have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 36 points or more this season.

Wickenburg Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Evan Gustin led the charge by going 9 for 14 on his way to 18 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. Gustin is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Matney, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 16 points and five steals.

Wickenburg Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Roosevelt Preparatory Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Wickenburg Christian Academy will take on Trinity Christian in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on December 20th.
