Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Tolland). They slipped by the Lewis Mills Spartans  35-34 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their 12-point performance the  game before.
It was another big night for  Symon Snyder, who rushed for 126 yards and one  TD while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.  Ryan Boor got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
 Tolland didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Boor and  Anthony Wells. Wells also set a new season-high mark in  total tackles with ten. Boor got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Despite the loss, Lewis Mills still got an impressive performance from   Mason Scanlon, who rushed for 143 yards.
Tolland's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Lewis Mills, their loss was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-5.
