Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Bede). They walked away with a 71-62 victory over the Bureau Valley Storm on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bruins as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

St. Bede's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Bureau Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

St. Bede wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 66-55 loss against Illinois Valley Central on the 14th. As for Bureau Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
