Winfield faced Charleston Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Generals skirted past the Irish 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Irish: they've now won four in a row.

Brooklyn Cole paced Winfield's offense, picking up 15 kills. Cole got some help from Kynnlee Mcclure and her 17 assists. Mcclure was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
