Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Adams Central). They blew past the Southern Wells Raiders, posting a 78-30 win. Given the Flying Jets' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Raiders are ranked 440th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Southern Wells lost, don't look at Cj Reber. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 21 on his way to 20 points and five boards. The matchup was Reber's third in a row with at least ten points.

Adams Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Southern Wells, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Adams Central will challenge Heritage at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Heritage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.6 points per game this season. As for Southern Wells, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eastern at 1:30 p.m. on January 25th.
