There's no place like home for Strongsville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Shaker Heights Red Raiders an 8-0 shutout on Monday. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by eight runs or more this season.

With the victory, Strongsville broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-6. As for Shaker Heights, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Strongsville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Raiders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
