Nathan Gouvion had a dynamite game for Foothill, rushing for 289 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Gouvion's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Gino Marchetti was another key player, throwing for 180 yards and a touchdown.
Foothill was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 535 total yards. That's the most total yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Foothill wouldn't let Madison keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Zach Schutt was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance. His also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing two fumbles, and making six total tackles. Another thorn in Madison's side was Brady Holcomb, who picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Although Madison took the loss, they still got scores from Isaiah Murrell, Zagar Aiken, and Ryan Jackson.
Foothill will venture away from home to face off against Tustin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, they will host Steele Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
