Overhills hadn't done well against E.E. Smith recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Overhills Jaguars came out on top against the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls by a score of 52-39. Winning may never get old, but the Jaguars sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Overhills got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Najiha Allen out in front who went 6-for-13 to rack up 14 points along with six boards and three steals. Allen is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 46% in the last five games she's played. Ani'Yah Mason was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine steals.

Overhills was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as E.E. Smith only racked up six assists.

E.E. Smith lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mia Cordero, who posted eight points in addition to six steals and five assists. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Amy Boa, who had 11 points and four steals.

Overhills pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for E.E. Smith, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9.

As of now, neither Overhills nor E.E. Smith have any future games scheduled.
