Plymouth Whitemarsh extended the longest winning streak in Suburban One - American this week by beating Springfield Township, 28-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Colonials.
Wissahickon took down Upper Moreland 55-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Upper Merion Area's dynamic duo of Carmen Fortino and Michael Grant proved tough for Upper Dublin to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Fortino threw for 151 yards and one touchdown and Grant had 74 yards receiving. Evon Dixon helped Upper Merion Area's passing attack out by catching five balls for 43 yards.
Corey Kelly was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 192 yards as Plymouth Whitemarsh fell to the Cardinals. Teammate Terry Brown added to the ground attack by rushing for 92 yards.
Upper Merion Area's Fortino and Grant have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Fortino has thrown for 1514 yards this season, while Grant has 24 catches for 511 yards. Kelly from Dan Chang's team leads the league in rushing with 1370 yards.
The Trojans made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,422 from 2,568. The improvement came about via a 55-13 victory over the Bears last week.
