The Brook Hill Guard came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 victory over Prince of Peace. Given Brook Hill's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 541st, while the Eagles are ranked 1134th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brook Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karmen Miller, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. Brenna Hill was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds.
