The Sebastian River Sharks waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They strolled past Space Coast with points to spare, taking the game 47-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sebastian River also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
It was another big night for Samiya Adams, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was E?mani Pryor, who scored ten points.
Despite the loss, Space Coast still got an impressive performance from Taylor Hill, who scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Hill scored 15 or more points.
Sebastian River has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Space Coast, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.
Sebastian River's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Lincoln Park Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th. Lincoln Park Academy will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. As for Space Coast, Space Coast and Edgewood will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Edgewood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday.
