The Highland Huskies stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They really took it to Kootenai for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-32 victory on the road. With Highland ahead 34-9 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Highland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hunter Hix, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hix has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Watson, who scored 12 points along with two blocks.
Highland is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Kootenai, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Highland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 80-46 loss vs. Troy on the 10th. Kootenai has also already played their next matchup, a 75-31 loss against Clark Fork on the 10th.
