Cypress Falls had won five straight games and Gisselle Jackson did her part to make it six on Friday. Everything went the Cypress Falls Eagles' way against the Cypress Creek Cougars as the Cypress Falls Eagles made off with a 74-51 win thanks in part to Jackson, who went 9 of 16 on her way to 23 points along with eight boards and three steals. Those 23 points gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Raquel Hawk, who posted 14 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Cypress Falls' victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Cypress Creek, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Cypress Falls and Cypress Creek should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Cypress Falls (ranked 66th) will meet Northbrook (ranked 1253rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cypress Falls is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.4 points per game this season. Similarly, Cypress Creek (ranked 367th) will meet Cypress Ridge (ranked 1079th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
