It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Collegiate Spartans can now relate to. They were the victim of a tough 50-25 defeat at the hands of Andale on Friday. Collegiate's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Collegiate's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Hudson Ferralez, who threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns. Julian Johnson also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Andale, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
Collegiate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Andale is on the road again on Friday and play against Cheney at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Cheney is ranked sixth, while Andale is ranked seventh).
